Classes cap at 12 women and run across strength, HIIT, and mobility. 45 minutes, different every day, always coached. Designed around real bodies at every stage of life, not just the ones that already know what a deadlift is.
20+ sessions a week across mornings, mid-mornings, evenings, and Saturdays plus open-gym time when you want to move at your own pace.

I hold a Master's degree with a specialisation in women's strength and midlife coaching, which means the programmes at The Resistance aren't based on guesswork or generic fitness advice. They're grounded in what we actually know about how women's bodies work, and what changes in midlife.

Yes. She Rises is specifically designed for women who are just starting out or starting over. The four personal training sessions at the beginning mean we meet you exactly where you are, build around your body, and make sure you're confident before you're ever in a class setting. You don't need a fitness baseline to join.

That's exactly what your 1-on-1 sessions are for. We'll talk through any injuries, limitations, or areas of concern in your free chat, and Janine will factor all of that into your programme. Midlife bodies often come with history - that's not a barrier here.

At the end of your four weeks, you'll have a clear sense of whether The Resistance is your gym. Most women move straight into a regular membership, either The Uprising (2 sessions a week) or The Vanguard (unlimited). There's no pressure, and we'll talk through options together when the time comes.
